Padico is a software environment for computational grids; it is designed for high performance parallel computing, distributed computing, and software components. It targets code coupling applications based on the concept of parallel CORBA objects. It is composed of the following entities:
PadicoTM is the Padico
runtime layer. PadicoTM provides the user with fast CORBA,
MPI and Java™ RMI implementations (available at the same time)
over high performance networks such as Myrinet, Infiniband or Quadrics QsNet.
Some performance
results of PadicoTM are available.
PadicoTM is available for
download.
GridCCM enables parallel components. It extends the CORBA component models with parallel components.
ADAGE stands for Automatic Deployment of Applications in a Grid Environment. It is a prototype middleware designed to automatically launch distributed (CCM, JXTA, DIET, etc.) or parallel (MPI) applications on the resources of a computational grid.
